Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join an established, collegial, neonatology practice serving the Salt Lake City metro area. This established practice provides coverage across a combination of Level III and Level II NICUs, offering an excellent mix of acuity, autonomy, and workâ“life balance.
About the Role: Support a varying level of acuity with the NICU
St. Markâ™s Hospital â“ Salt Lake City
Level III NICU
25 NICU beds with an average daily census of 15
Provides comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns, including conventional and ECHMO, HFOV), iNO, therapeutic hypothermia, advanced imaging, and inhouse neonatal subspecialty support

Level III NICU
20 NICU beds with an average daily census of 12

13bed NICU, recently upgraded from Level II to Level III
Growing regional demand and increased neonatal acuity, while maintaining a communityfocused practice environment
Subspecialty & Maternal Support
Pediatrix Neonatology of the Mountain States supports 8 physicians within the practice
Strong collaboration with MaternalFetal Medicine (MFM) physicians across the system
Collectively, these hospitals deliver a balanced patient mix that includes latepreterm and term infants with appropriate transfer pathways for rare surgical or ECMOlevel cases.

Qualifications
Must be board eligible or board certified in Neonatology
