Job Description:
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal accrediting and regulatory agencies' rules, regulations, standards, and guidelines. Aligns departmental policies, procedures, and practices with hospital goals and regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned.
Maintains staff and environment in a continuous state of readiness to ensure safe practices. Develops and monitors budgets, addressing operational and financial variances, and utilizes strategic thinking for capital requests. Deploys strategic and operational decisions affecting multi-disciplinary, intra-departmental, and campus operations.
Systematically monitors department metrics and process improvement initiatives, creates and deploys actions plans and documents results, facilitates evidence-based practices, and develops talent management plans. Supports and promotes staff participation in community events. Promotes a collaborative and supportive environment by serving as a mentor and positive role model for clinical staff and students, fostering professional growth, teamwork, and clinical excellence through evidence-based practice and Engaging in autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, and clinical practice education within a peer group. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships. Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department by overseeing the coordination of activities, prioritizing workflow, promoting decision-making, scheduling to best meet the patients’ needs and problem solving. Leads daily operations of the Rehabilitation Department, including active involvement in clinical and service rounding. Oversees recruitment, hiring, training, and engagement of staff to ensure competencies for quality care and optimum outcomes. Collaborates with other departments, service lines, and programs to establish processes for successful operations. Designs and implements customer service initiatives to enhance patient and stakeholder satisfaction. Identifies and solves problems related to patients, employees, and stakeholders through collaboration with other departments and programs. Establishes reporting and approval procedures and communicates operational status to Campus and Rehabilitation Administration.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong organization skills [Required]

$91,313.86 - $169,845.73
