- Integrates current published research and literature into all learning activities and maintains knowledge of national and local trends in nursing practice.
- Monitors and reports compliance with required education and ensures adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Participates in quality and performance improvement activities to improve patient outcomes using literature, research, and evidence-based practice.
- Shares unit performance improvement data with staff and is knowledgeable of unit results and action plans.
- Provides input for personnel performance evaluations and recognizes staff needs for additional skills, recommending pertinent education.
- RN will cover all four advent health hospitals in Great Lakes.
- Usually, one day per week but may be more or less
- On call Saturdays 7-11 at Hinsdale/Lagrange and 9-2 Bolingbrook and Glen Oaks
- Previous experience required in vascular access placing PICC’s, midline’s and us PIV
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Effective oral and written communication skills: strong interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills
• Self-direction, creativity, initiative to develop educational programs
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel
Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• Technical degree
Work Experience:
• 2+ years experience in vascular access [Required]

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
