The Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Program Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, and sustainment of the organization’s EBP infrastructure. This role ensures nurses and interprofessional teams have the processes, tools, education, and governance support needed to translate evidence into clinical practice.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. (Required)
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or related field. (Required)
Doctoral degree in Nursing (PhD or DNP with strong research focus) (Preferred)
Experience
Five (5) years of clinical nursing experience. (Required)
Two (2) years of experience leading or supporting EBP initiatives. (Required)
Experience managing programs, projects, or professional practice initiatives. (Required)
Experience in a pediatric, academic, or quaternary care environment. (Preferred)
Certifications
Current Arizona RN license or compact license with eligibility for AZ licensure. (Required)
National nursing certification (e.g., CPN, NE-BC, CCRN) or obtained within 1 year. (Required)
Special Skills
Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice methodologies. (Required)
Program management and organizational skills. (Required)
Ability to coach and support multidisciplinary teams. (Required)
Strong facilitation and consultation skills. (Preferred)
Ability to translate evidence into operational practice. (Required)
