Join our Pulmonary Clinic team in a flexible, patient-focused nursing role supporting both general pulmonary and asthma care. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with providers and collaborate across specialty clinics while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. We are looking for an experienced nurse (2 - 3 years RN experience) to work 2 - 3 days/week in our Pulmonary clinic. We offer a variable schedule, but incumbent must be available to work any day during the week. M - F, 8AM - 5 PM and NO weekends! NO holidays! NO Call!
Key Responsibilities: Provide in-person care for general pulmonary and asthma patients Deliver asthma education and support self-management Manage patient discharges from clinic visits Support discharge planning for newborns with Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD) Partner with providers to manage inbox messages and patient communications Conduct phone triage and respond to patient needs Collaborate with other specialty clinics to coordinate care

This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.
Education
Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)
Experience
Pediatric experience. (Preferred)
Certifications
Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification may be required within 90 days of entry into the position for select departments. (Preferred)
