Overview
St. Luke's Health System Perioperative Clinic in Twin Falls, ID seeks a part-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our highly collegial and patient focused clinic team.
Our specialized perioperative clinic utilizes hospitalists and APPs to assess perioperative risk, optimize management of chronic medical problems perioperatively, and perform appropriate risk stratification when needed before surgery. Our patients receive extensive education about what complications could occur with surgery and what they can do to help minimize their risk. Our approach has reduced perioperative complications, same-day cancellations of surgery, and has helped streamline anesthesia care on the day of surgery.
Opportunity exists for an APP to work a hybrid role in both the perioperative clinic and with the inpatient hospitalist team or only in the perioperative clinic. Looking for APP preferably experienced in hospitalist work, internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonology or another medical specialty.
What to Expect:
- Working independently w/ in-person & remote support
- 6-7 patients a day
- Consultative Visits
- MA support staff
- Collaborative team dynamic
