Lab Assistant
The Lab Assistant has knowledge of laboratory practices, specimen integrity & stability, federal and state requirements for laboratory operations, and applicable accreditation standards. Ability to operate laboratory centrifuges, perform a variety of blood collection techniques including venous and capillary collections. RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive specimens, place orders, add test, delete test, spin down, separate and distribute specimens to the proper departments. Prepare specimen to send to reference labs.
