Avoca Search has partnered with Brown University Health is seeking an innovative, strategic, and transformational leader to serve as Vice President, Talent Acquisition Sourcing for one of the Northeast’s premier integrated academic health systems. This executive leadership role will lead enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy across a complex and growing organization of more than 20,000 employees, supporting the recruitment of exceptional clinical, academic, operational, and executive talent.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President/CHRO, the Vice President will partner closely with executive leadership, hospital presidents, and service line leaders to develop scalable, data-driven workforce solutions that strengthen organizational capability, enhance candidate experience, and position Brown University Health for continued growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise-wide talent acquisition sourcing strategy across a complex, multi-site healthcare system
Build and optimize high-performing recruitment operations and sourcing capabilities
Develop proactive workforce planning and pipeline strategies for critical talent segments
Leverage Workday, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled recruitment tools to improve efficiency and candidate experience
Strengthen employer branding and candidate engagement strategies
Partner with executive and clinical leadership to anticipate future workforce needs
Mentor and develop a team of approximately 50 talent acquisition professionals
Establish KPI-driven performance standards and service delivery excellence
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking talent acquisition executive with:
Experience leading large-scale healthcare or similarly complex talent acquisition organizations
Proven success developing enterprise recruiting and sourcing strategies
Expertise in workforce planning, analytics, and recruitment technology optimization
Experience implementing or enhancing Workday and AI/automation-enabled recruiting tools
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across a matrixed organization
Success leading organizational change and building high-performing teams
Experience navigating unionized and multi-state environments preferred
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 10 years leading healthcare talent acquisition or similarly complex recruiting operations
Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, recruitment transformation, and operational leadership
