Beebe Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to support leadership and clinical excellence on our Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and a positive team environment within one of our fast-paced, high-acuity units.
In this key leadership position, the Assistant Nurse Manager collaborates closely with the Nurse Manager to plan, organize, and implement unit services. Responsibilities include assisting with fiscal management, performance improvement initiatives, and regulatory and policy compliance to maintain the highest standards of safety and care. The RN Assistant Nurse Manager supports personnel processes, fosters strong communication across multidisciplinary teams, and helps drive effective decision-making and change management.
This role is ideal for an experienced RN looking to deepen leadership experience while functioning as bench strength for future nurse management opportunities. Working collaboratively with all departments, the Assistant Nurse Manager helps cultivate a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Assists the Nurse Manager in assessment, skill proficiency evaluation, equipment and supply management, patient satisfaction initiatives, staffing, and scheduling.
Supports the Nurse Manager in overseeing the unit.
Assists with the management of personnel processes, including but not limited to hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Ensures compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Effectively communicates information to staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
Assists the Nurse Manager in making timely decisions and managing change processes.
Collaborates with all departments as part of the management team.
Utilizes a personal cell phone for business purposes.
Qualifications
Prior RN experience in acute care setting (Minimum of 2 years preferred)
Competencies Skills
Experience in hospital or acute care setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patients and team members.
Ability to manage crisis situations effectively.
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to patients, team members, and visitors.
Knowledge and experience with electronic health records.
Credentials
Essential:
Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
NIH Stroke Certification.
Education
Essential:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Magnet Recognition preferred).
OR RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program + Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Active pursuit of a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) if not already possessing a BSN.
