Professional Fee Abstractor
Nemours Children's Health is hiring a remote Professional Fee Abstractor. The Professional Fee Abstractor is responsible for 100% charge capture by reviewing physician documentation and properly coding all professional services performed utilizing appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, HCPCS codes and modifiers. Daily review of EPIC Charge Review Work queues is essential. Participation in physician training and education is also required. Maintaining yearly certification as a CPC, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT is required. This is a remote position. Essential Functions: 1.Ensure that charges for all applicable patient encounters of the Nemours Children's Clinical Practice are abstracted in a timely manner
