Position SummaryCritical Care Float Pool Registered Nurses utilize a patient and family-centered approach to provide compassionate and high-quality care for children of all ages. Critical Care Float Pool RNs are assigned on a shift-by-shift basis to care for patients in one of the critical care units that includes CVICU, PICU, NICU and Emergency Department. RNs in critical care provide care for patients with a variety of acute and chronic illnesses including those with respiratory, neurological, traumatic, and cardiovascular diagnoses. Nurses collaboratively work with a multi-disciplinary team to care for patients. Clinical leadership is available on both days and nights to provide ongoing support.
