Mental Health Counselor
Job Summary: This professional clinical position is responsible for conducting brief clinical interventions focused on preparing a client for engagement in Substance Use Disorders (SUD) services. Treatment and counseling will be provided based upon the treatment plan developed by the SUD multidisciplinary treatment team. This individual will work in partnership with the medical provider in the ED as well and in the inpatient and outpatient SUD programs to enhance screening, treatment and engagement within the SUD population.
