?The Division Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology, reporting directly to the Chair in the Department of Otolaryngology, will guide the growth and development of the division's highly respected clinical, education and research programs, taking full advantage of the University of Miami's extraordinary faculty, trainees, and staff. ?The Division Chief will serve as the Pediatric Otolaryngology service leader at Jackson Health System, oversee the clinical activities within the institution and ensure the highest quality of care delivered. The Division Chief will partner with Departmental and Hospital Leaders to build a world-class team. They will ensure excellence in pediatric otolaryngology education for medical students and residents, provide mentorship and develop to faculty and trainees, and foster an environment of academic and scholarly distinction.? ? The ideal candidate would have an established academic career in Pediatric Otolaryngology with the desire and ability to grow the division and its reputation in a competitive landscape. Upon recruitment, the Division Chief will have immediate support to recruit another full time Pediatric Otolaryngologist and additional resources in the future to support the growth and expansion of the division.
