We are searching for candidates who are board certified/eligible in pediatric critical care and have either completed one year of advanced training in pediatric cardiac intensive care or a fellowship in pediatric cardiology.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a combined ICU model with a strong commitment to advancing pediatric cardiac critical care within Colorado and across the region. Rocky Mountain Childrenâ™s is supported by a 24-hour pediatric ER, 45-bed pediatric floor with in-house hospitalist coverage, an 84-bed level 4 NICU that serves neonates with complex congenital heart disease, and a full complement of pediatric sub-specialists.
Position Overview
Support a Growing Cardiac Program: Join a multidisciplinary team driving the expansion of dedicated cardiac critical care services to serve patients from Colorado and surrounding states. Our 20-bed combined PICU/PCICU is currently functionally divided (10 PICU / 10 PCICU), with the ability to overflow. Plans are in place to add additional infrastructure and capacity as cardiac volumes increase.

Comprehensive Services: We offer a wide range of services including the management of patients requiring interventional catheterization, advanced electrophysiology, non-invasive fetal and cardiac imaging, and cardiac and respiratory ECMO support.

Qualifications
BC Pediatrics
BE/BC Pediatric Critical Care
Pediatric Cardiac ICU Fellowship or Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship
3â“5 yearsâ™ experience in a high-acuity, multidisciplinary cardiac ICU preferred
Interest in program growth, clinical excellence and quality improvement desired
Eligibility for licensure in the state of Colorado

Salary Range: $280,000 - $368,000
