Our midwives strive to be your PARTNER in care, not just your provider of care. They spend extra time with you during your appointments, listening to your concerns, and addressing and treating problems. They provide education, suggest resources, or refer you to other health care providers if needed.
Midwives are fully integrated into the healthcare system at Berkshire Medical Center and collaborate with your team of OB/GYN physician colleagues to provide you with the highest quality care.
- Full time, full scope CNM practice with 40-hour work week commitment including coverage hours on the Family Birthplace.
- Fully integrated nurse midwifery and OB/GYN practice, with a collaborative team consisting of 10 Physicians, 7 Certified Nurse Midwives and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.
- Experience required, or if a new graduate, then a background in labor or delivery/family birthplace is necessary.
- Our Family Birthplace is located at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Office locations are throughout Berkshire County: Pittsfield, North Adams and Lenox.
- 650 births a year.
