JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Clinical Engineering Manager, the Instrument Sharpening Technician I is accountable for installations, repairs, regular maintenance and calibration of most classes of surgical instruments at the component level.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEPerforms installations, regular maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on assigned surgical instruments to ensure proper operation and function.Performs all assignments in a competent and timely way according to current policies and procedures.
