Job Summary: The Patient Logistics Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Medical Director of Emergency Medicine including but not limited to Transfer Center operations, Patient Placement, and patient flow required to provide appropriate, effective, and efficient patient care. The Patient Logistics Coordinator is empowered to remove barriers and bottlenecks related to transferring of patients, patient placement, and flow. Works in collaboration with Transfer Center and Patient Placement coordinators and communicates with Nursing staff, Nurse Managers, NCCs, Support Services, Administrative Supervisors, and Physicians.
