Unit Technician, NICU, Part time
Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe Unit Technician provides clerical support such as assembling and maintaining patient charts, scheduling diagnostic procedures, completing admission and transfer/discharge forms, greeting and directing visitors, answering the telephone, relaying calls and messages, providing approved routine information. He/she performs all equipment maintenance and cleaning for all equipment on the unit on a scheduled basis and maintains adequate supply levels on the designated unit. He/she stocks supplies on each unit and ensures efficient and timely pickup and delivery of unit associated goods, supplies and transport of labs as needed.P
