We have an excellent career opportunity for a Sample Coordinator to join our Clinical Pathology team in Greenfield, IN.
Schedule: This is a full-time 1st shift position. Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Position Summary
The Sample Coordinator performs a variety of sample management tasks, including labeling, shipping, transferring, inventorying, archiving, and disposing in support of departmental operations.
The essential job duties are:
Reviews sample paperwork against samples to ensure accuracy
Solves problems independently, contacting internal or external clients for clarification as needed
Communicates confirmation of sample receipt to clients, if appropriate
Handles internal and external customer inquiries and requests
Distributes sample information and paperwork
Responsible for entry and accuracy of sample tracking systems
Maintains storage units
Performs other related duties as assigned
Education/Qualifications/Experience:
Associate?s degree in Life Sciences
1+ years of applicable lab experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
Excellent customer service skills including attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication skills
Ability to use a variety of computer applications and proficient at the department specific software used
Excellent documentation skills
