Job Summary:
JOB SUMMARY
Lead in the implementation and management of various technologies within the Microsoft 365 (M365) platform. Responsible for its design, installation, and support by providing advance level of knowledge with the administration, performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning for this technology. Recommends, develops, and enforces policies and procedures for maintaining the security and integrity of that technology while ensuring the system meets availability and disaster recovery requirements. Researches and recommends current and future technologies based on feasibility and performance enhancements. Ensures smooth integration with other systems within the M365 environment. Implements medium to small development projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs, implements, and supports technologies within the Microsoft 365 Platform.
- Ensures integrity, security, stability, and recoverability of those technologies.
- Provides advanced technical support and research.
- Provides training and guidance to team members and end-users regarding Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Provides subject matter expertise on various Microsoft 365 technologies; including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Teams Voice, and Azure AD.
- Stays current with new features and capabilities of Microsoft 365 and provides recommendations for adoption.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES:
ADMINISTRATION (ADVANCED): Demonstrates high levels of expertise in applying the skill in challenging and complex situations within a particular M365 Technology. Often takes a lead role in highly pressurized situations when there is a need to achieve results. Consistently delivers products and services using the skill in a creative and imaginative manner while setting a standard for others. Actively participates in outside professional organizations and forums.
CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT (INTERMEDIATE): Demonstrates strong and consistent configuration management. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering services using configuration tools with minimal support and direction from others. Assists with the installation and implementation of configuration management tools. Manages changes made to hardware, software, firmware, documentation, test, test fixtures and test documentation throughout the development and operational life of the M365 technologies. Participates in the development of the Company's configuration management plan.
INSTALLATION AND UPGRADE (INTERMEDIATE): Has the ability to install software using vendor-supplied and company-developed procedures. Demonstrates the ability to use core utility programs in the installation and maintenance of systems. Demonstrates the ability to analyze and resolve problems that may arise during a software installation. Demonstrates the ability to create and use utility programs to facilitate software installations.
MONITORING AND TUNING (ADVANCED): Demonstrates high levels of expertise in applying performance metrics in challenging and complex situations regarding performance problems. Able to interpret performance information and make recommendations. Will be the lead role in highly pressurized situations when there is a need to achieve results and research metrics in new areas for potential use. Plans performance and stress tests.
SECURITY (INTERMEDIATE): Has strong knowledge of the M365 security components and is able to describe Microsoft's security best practices to users and management. Demonstrates mastery of security in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering security products and services without requiring support and instruction from others.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years relevant experience with M365 environment
