Consolidated Service Center (CSC) Pharmacy Director

St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a Pharmacy Director

to join our Consolidated Service Center (CSC) team.

Position Summary

The CSC Pharmacy Director is responsible for being the on-site leader of the pharmacy verticals within the CSC. They are responsible for the execution of the vision and strategic objectives with the pharmacy CSC verticals which will maximize efficiencies and customer satisfaction through innovative pharmacy warehouse solutions.

The CSC Pharmacy Director will direct the day-to-day activities of multiple teams and overseeing general operations of a complex distribution center offering multiple services.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of the pharmacy CSC team
• Provide leadership, guidance, counseling, and continuing education to pharmacy CSC team
• Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff
• Assist in the development and administration of departmental policies and procedures
• Develop and implement quality assurance standards, performance improvement activities
• Assure compliance of pharmacy services with policy and regulatory agencies
• Develop, monitor, and work effectively within established budgets
• Lead within organizational structures to improve pharmacy services, staffing deployment, and technology
• Work closely with leaders to optimize pharmacy services for patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary work teams
• Coordinate implementation of strategic goals, projects, and programs affecting the department
• Serve as designated accountable leader for the organization as assigned by role and scope of responsibility.
• Develop new programs or service lines
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
• Valid Idaho Pharmacist License
• Five (5) years' experience
• MBA or Pharmacy Residency in lieu of two (2) years' experience
• Knowledge and understanding of compounding operations and/or health system operations is preferred
• Purchasing or supply chain experience is preferred
• Team leadership experience is preferred
