Physician Assistant Ophthalmology-Alfred I duPont Hospital
This position is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care services as a member of the Ophthalmology team. The physician assistant will work in collaboration with physicians to assist with the overall care of the patients in Ophthalmology both working with the inpatient and outpatient population. Essential Functions Perform history and physical examinations in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Enter patient information and patient prescriptions into the electronic medical record. Triage and respond to phone calls from referring physician, patients and their families, allied health professionals, insurance companies, etc. regarding patient care.
