The role you’ll contribute:
The Group Exercise Coordinator, reporting to the Manager, instructs
group exercise classes for members and guests and assists the Manager in the coordination of group exercise classes and instructors.Instructs classes based on safe, appropriate and acceptable exercise movements and programs in a group setting. Class instruction will comply with nationally recognized certification standards.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Assist in the training, selection, and evaluation of the group exercise instructors.
Monitor all group exercise instructors to ensure they are providing safe, fun and motivational group exercise classes.
Instructs classes in accordance with AdventHealth Wellness Center policies and procedures and maintains a friendly and safe environment.
In collaboration with Manager, create and maintain group exercise schedule.
Instruct each class within nationally recognized certification standards
Maintain active certification in recognized certifying organization
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Accredited Certification for Group Exercise or Personal Training
CPR / BLS
Back ground in Fitness and or Dance.
Driven personality to keep a group exercise class engaged with high energy
