Food Service Worker
The Food Service Worker, WG-2 is a position in Nutrition and Food Service (N&FS) at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in VISN 10. N&FS is responsible for providing meals and nutritional care to veteran patients at the Medical Center. The primary purpose of the Food Service Worker, WG-2 position is to perform basic, routine food service tasks made up of a sequence of steps and that require attention to work operations, sanitation, and safety. Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reviews worksheets and meus to identify food items, portion sizes and number of portions number of portions needed. Sets up and replenishes serving lines with dishware, napkins, condiments, and hot and cold food items. Sets up and serves on tray line stations (starter, loader, dessert
