Fairview Pharmacy Services is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to provide support to a team of 9 technicians in the shipping and distirbution area. This position provides day-to-day leadership and manages the receiving, tracking and sending orders to customers, while maintaining a relationship with departments and vendors. The ideal candidate will be pharmacy technician with knowledge of enterprise and a solid background in workflow process improvement.
In this role, the Supervisor:
-provides overall supervision to the pharmacy technician staff
-oversees operations to ensure appropriate distribution and streamlined workflow
-maintains and monitor the productivity of staff to maximize efficiency, assure adequate staffing levels and control costs
-manages shipping order and invoices, audit shipping notices orders, invoices and other documents to ensure that the correct shipping methods are used.
-conducts regular inventory reconciliation to ensure adequate supplies to meet production goals. Report any damaged goods or discrepancies with inventory
-monitors prices from vendors and compare services
-performs pharmacy technician duties as needed.
Two years previous pharmacy technician experience
Registered with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy
National Pharmacy certification preferred and must be achieved within one year in this role
Forklift certification (wiithin 90 days of job entry date)
Forklift train a trainer (within 6 months of job entry date)
