The Administrative Director for Laboratory Services supports and sustains the mission and vision of the organization, Allied Health Services, and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (DPLM); providing leadership for the diverse disciplines and departments providing laboratory services to patients and their families. The Director leads the development and implementation of DPLM operational and strategic initiatives that improve services to patients, families, and colleagues within the organization and guides and directs all DPLM clinical services to support high quality patient care in collaboration with the Medical and Technical Directors. The Director creates a culture of continuous, data-driven improvements in DPLM care safety and quality and develops and implements the operating and capital budgets for the DPLM clinical operations, in collaboration with DPLM and Medical and Technical Directors
7 years relevant experience.
MT(ASCP) or MLS (ASCP)
Experience in compliance with regulatory standards
Ability to learn and use Hospital and Laboratory Information Systems.
Software Application Skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
