Join our AllianceRx Walgreens Prime Payer Sales growing team working as a subject matter expert in the specialty pharmacy space partnering with payer client to create sales solutions. AllianceRx Walgreens Prime is a new entrepreneurial joint venture between Walgreens and Prime Therapeutics merging our specialty pharmacies and home delivery operations to best support our patients.
This is a remote opportunity. We are currently adding three professionals to work nationally based on key (West, South, Central, East, North) geographies.
The Sales Solution Director (Specialty Pharmacy Sales Consultant) is responsible for serving as the key liaison between strategic business units (Infusion and/or Specialty Pharmacy, Pharmacy Services or Corporate Innovation) and the AllianceRx Walgreens Prime Sales Team and will provide leadership, develop structure and content of sales strategies and client presentations. Responsible for representing business unit products and collaborate with Marketing, Product Management Leaders and their respective team and provide a robust enterprise sales strategy as well as serve as a consultant to management and clients. Manages the sales pipeline and assure the product revenue targets are achieved.
Provides expertise in the evaluation and development of sales strategy; new product/service development; new business opportunities; client negotiation
Aligns strategic business unit and Managed Markets goals and initiatives; creates and manages a strategic product/service sales plan and assures sales plan objectives are achieved; manages pipeline activity for the strategic initiative and report updates with strategic business initiative owner
Provides oversight to standard and customized products and solutions for clients and potential clients; applies expertise and knowledge of AllianceRx Walgreens Prime products and services to create programs that meet client needs and to enhance programs for existing customers; accounts for a variety of factors, including client business goals, client business culture, and retrospective healthcare data analysis
Identifies client information needs for reporting, analyzing report data, and presenting results and plan recommendations to clients
Reviews and analyzes industry trends client activity / utilization reports to ensure the continued growth and viability of new and potential business opportunities
Consults with sales teams and respective clients regarding product issues and concerns; researches and responds to client inquiries concerning program activity and drug information issues
Serves as a member of sales team when making sales presentations to clients; provides product and industry knowledge and expertise in representing the sales team to internal business units in order to maximize business unit integration opportunities
Works with sales team to coordinate pull through efforts to maximize B2B referrals
Through client interactions, networking and professional seminars, keeps current on critical client issues and trends and assimilates them into products and services
Other responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate
Required qualifications, skills and experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related area of study; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
10 years’ in diverse healthcare experience in areas such as pharmaceutical industry, retail pharmacy, managed care, business intelligence & customer relationship management, financial and return-on-investment analysis
5 years’ managing and/or supporting key strategic clients (large health plans, employers or health systems) and/or products
Demonstrated experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
Demonstrated experience developing strategic initiatives which align with business goals and budget
Demonstrated experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and reconciling differences
Demonstrated experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines
Demonstrated experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Demonstrated experience coordinating and facilitating executive management meetings
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes
Desired qualifications, skills and experience:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related area of study
