Under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor, you will:
Perform a wide range of microscopic, special chemical and bacteriologic tests; and review and confirm accuracy of results
Prepare slides and execute specimen processing via heating, filtering, or titrating
The selected Technologist will have:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent physical sciences
Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical laboratory within a hospital or high-level research setting
New York State License as a Laboratory Technologist
ASCP certification and knowledge of LIS preferred
Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
