The Clinical Informatics Analyst Senior is a multi-faceted position that is responsible for clinical business intelligence and decision support development, predictive model development, and ETL development and deployment. The Clinical Informatics Analyst Senior works with the clinical team to gather, understand and document current workflows and processes as well as national recommendations for best practice specific to all clinical subspecialties. The Clinical Informatics Analyst Senior will utilize existing data sources in conjunction with new discrete data capture and predictive modeling output to develop ETL processes that allow the Steele Institute to maintain accurate clinical data assets used to support applications built to facilitate quality, efficient patient care.

Demonstrates understanding of relational database concepts and query tools.
Demonstrates proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access and ability to manipulate data and files for analysis and other needs.
Demonstrates knowledge of internal and external operational, clinical and financial information systems.
Demonstrates the ability to prepare and understand functional and technical specifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, statistics or closely related field required.
Minimum four years of experience in analytics required, with at least two of those years in health care analytics specifically.
