Performs all aspects of MRI procedures. Knowledge of MRI procedures and equipment. Technical skills include computer proficiency in obtaining diagnostic images and screening patient information. Performs technical procedures which will require independent judgment with ingenuity, initiative, and an understanding of the anatomical positions necessary to obtain a high quality diagnostic study. May require light to medium lifting. Access and utilize the hospital and radiology information systems including PACS. Schedule flexibility with the possibility of being on-call.
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of MRI Preferred: Associates degree or Bachelors degree
1 Year MRI experience (Hospital experience preferred). Must be self motivated and once job skills are learned, is able to work with minimal supervision. Computer skills including knowledge of HIS, RIS and PACS.
Required: ARRT ( R ) and documentation of MRI training and experience; American Heart Association BLS; Florida CRT Licensure
