This position supports the General Leadership Team (GLT) and the mission of the Sisters in the Incarnate Word. Under the supervision of the CCVI Finance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the general maintenance, handy man duties, upkeep and general assistance, painting and minor repairs, and light furniture moving for the Congregation. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for the Congregational Vehicles; cleaning, fueling, and upkeep duties as well as driving to and from maintenance appointments at local mechanic shop.
Collaborates with the Finance Office Manager in regards to maintenance requests.
Supervises the maintenance staff and maintenance office.
Prepare annual budget for Maintenance Department and capital improvements.
Contact vendors for major repair & maintenance.
Contact property insurance company to file insurance claims.
Maintains and conducts minor repairs on electrical, plumbing, walls, ceiling, floors, furniture and equipment (changing light bulbs, air filters, checking plumbing clogs, etc).
Assists Sisters throughout the Congregation with maintenance and general labor needs.
Responds to request in a timely fashion and according to priority.
Performs assigned duties such as painting, moving, assisting Sisters and Associates.
Maintains vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire checks, delivery / pick up from mechanic, and inventory.
Preps cars prior to check out by fueling, washing, checking tires, and / or waxing as needed.
Delivers and picks up vehicles from mechanics and tracks repairs.
Conducts minor work on vehicles.
Maintains and tracks control log for vehicles.
Performs general clean up duties for properties that are the responsibility of the General Leadership Team
Assists at GLT functions as needed
Monitors reserved parking area and issues warnings to discourage unauthorized parking
Maintains recycling bins and disposes appropriately
Corrects errors as they become evident
Performs other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or GED required
Bilingual Spanish and English required
Vocational training or technical school training beyond high school education is preferred
Property maintenance preferred
Working Knowledge of the Microsoft (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
Problem Solving Skills

Working knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Must also successfully complete the pre-employment/post job offer health screening examination, and the annual screening each year thereafter as an employee.
