M Health Fairview is hiring a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist on the Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship Team at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital and University of Minnesota Medical Center.
This is a 0.8 FTE position plus Q6 weekend.
Location: Mainly West Bank with travel to East Bank.
Weekend Rotation: Every 6th weekend on the East Bank.
The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will work as a clinical pharmacist on the Antimicrobial Stewardship Team, providing consult to providers/external customers and support to clinical pharmacists. The Clinical Specialist will provide pharmaceutical care within their assigned scope/areas including regulatory compliance (JCAHO, etc.), clinical services, drug information, drug distribution, medication safety, process improvement, financial and formulary initiatives, medication use evaluations, and education/development of staff and learners, as well as other duties as assigned. The Clinical Specialist will develop and maintain intra and interdepartmental relationships in a teaching setting, including working closely with nurses and physicians.
