Evaluation and treatment of disabilities, injuries and diseases as related to functional impairments. Uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote functional independence and improve quality of life. Delegates the plan of care to assistive personnel and monitors quality of care. Other duties may be assigned as needed by the supervisor.
Patients include Cardiac, Ortho, Stroke, in addition to other Inpatient areas.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):
Current FL Licensed Physical Therapist
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
Some weekend hours included, weekend differential applied as worked.
Sign-on bonus for experienced Inpatient Physical Therapists, with a 24 month commitment
