Description Occupational Therapist PRN Requisition Number 1912364 Job Summary : Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute (PBPRI) at Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center is seeking a Occupational Therapist to work PRN. In this role, an Occupational Therapist has responsibilities to evaluate and treat patients with neurological conditions and diagnoses that include, but are not limited to, traumatic brain injury, stroke, tumor, spinal cord injury, and Parkinson's disease.
PBPRI is the outpatient interdisciplinary neurological rehabilitation program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center . In this dynamic environment, Occupational Therapists work as a team with colleagues in physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and social work to promote community re-entry, and vocational and/or academic transitioning for the patients at PBPRI.
The ideal candidate for this PRN position will have a strong professional interest and background in neurological rehabilitation.

Shift: This is a PRN position; Clinic hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm five days a week.
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Background screens will be performed and education will be verified prior to employment. Please be prepared to provide required information and/or documentation. The Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute (PBRI) expands the traditional services of the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center by providing comprehensive neuro-rehabilitation services including:
The Institute serves as the neurological outpatient rehabilitation center for adolescents and adults at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Common neurological diagnoses treated include traumatic brain injury, stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, brain tumors and balance disorders. An individualized, structured program is designed for each patient with a goal of maximizing independence in physical, cognitive and emotional functioning.
Our therapists work together as a team to ensure they are addressing issues with physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning, as well as communication, visual perception and daily living. Because the goals of each phase of the rehabilitation process differ, each outpatient therapy program may emphasize different therapies and different levels or aspects of functioning.
