Job Title: System Configuration Analyst Location: Bloomsburg, PA Department: Geisinger Health Plan Work Type: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY: This growing team is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Facets Customer Service Module and Facets Customer Service area within the Workflow Tool.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the ongoing configuration, management and oversight in the Facets system related to Benefits, Finance, Pricing and Workflow Configuration. Requires a blended background of insurance plan experience, coding, billing and claims processing experience and technical proficiency.

Demonstrates proficiency in computer operations including software applications in desktop publications, as well as presentation, spreadsheet and network applications. Demonstrates the ability to work in a multi-task environment where there are pressures of production schedules and deadlines. Demonstrate skill in mathematics/statistical analysis. Demonstrates strong writing and verbal presentation skills. Demonstrates the ability to work independently, problem-solve, and make decisions. Demonstrates the ability to influence others and work collaboratively in order to produce results across multiple functional teams.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Programming, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or similar field. Previous Facets product experience or a minimum of two years Health Plan experience required. or An Associate’s Degree with a minimum of two years previous experience as a configuration specialist or four years Health Plan experience required. or Minimum of six years health care, employee benefits, health insurance or related Health Plan experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is typically performed in an office environment. Independent travel to other Health Plan offices may be required.
