POSITION SUMMARY:

Professional registered nurse gives direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients after receiving anesthetic agents. The nurse in the post anesthesia role coordinates the care of the patient, is the patient advocate throughout the post operative experience.

Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.




Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications
Florida R.N. licensure
Basic Life Support
ACLS
PALS (preferred/ to be obtained with in 1 year)
Minimum Experience
One year as a PACU nurse
One year with ICU/ER experience
