Supervises the work of assigned nursing personnel in the Emergency Department.Assists in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling nursing activities.Responsible for providing high-quality patient care to, and acting as a liaison with, patients and their representatives, physicians, and employees.Serves as a clinical resource for other nursing staff on the unit.Responsible for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
1.Bachelorï¿½s Degree preferred.
2.South Carolina Nursing license or multi-state license from another compact state that is within the prescribed guidelines of the S.C. Nurse Practice Act.
1.A minimum of two yearsï¿½ experience in area of expertise.
2.One year management experience as a full-time or relief Charge Nurse preferred.
