The Senior Financial Analyst will assist the Capital Planning team within Financial Planning and Analysis to provide financial support and analytics surrounding Tenetï¿½s annual billion-dollar+ capital budget. Responsibilities include:
Assisting owners of capital in preparing, executing, and managing capital spend and forecasting, working with both home office and hospital/physician services-based finance/accounting professionals;
Variance reporting and explanation against forecast and budget, both monthly and quarterly;
Analyzing and inputting forecasts from home office departments and checking for errors from the submission, and providing corrections in a timely fashion to meet deadlines;
Executing budget transfers and setting up capital requests; tracking region spend;
Analysis of spend by type and inputting; creation of historical spend tracking;
Tracking of Construction and Design (C&D) projects and operation projects to create a reliable historical database, segmented by type of project and duration and updating C&D forecasts to monitor expected project completion dates;
Heavy training of others on how to use the Capital Reporting System and the approval systems/ including training of folks new to Tenet (Vanguard situation); participating in the live presentations given to finance personnel and accountants that fly in monthly for training;
Extensive testing and implementation of current system improvements and moving to new Hyperion PFP platform.
Bachelorï¿½s Degree in Finance, or related field with demonstrative knowledge in Information Technology. Employer will accept Bachelorï¿½s in e-commerce as equivalent. SAP Certification in Business Foundation & Integration; SAS Certification in Business Intelligence and Data Mining.
