Summary

The Unit Secretary works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Nurse Manager / Charge Nurse to provide clerical assistance and support in the operation of the assigned nursing unit to ensure effective and efficient services are delivered

Education

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Required: Must be familiar with medical terminology, and have experience with the use of a computer.

Must be able to multi-task
Preferred: Previous experience as a Unit Secretary preferred.
