The TRA Patient Care Technician will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the TRA Patient Care Technician provides individualized, culture-specific patient care by attending to the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists the professional or licensed nurse as delegated in tasks requiring less technical skills. Participates in shift and bedside report, performs phlebotomist duty, clerical/reception unit clerk duties as assigned, and assists in promoting an organized, efficient, smoothly functioning unit. Participates and supports regional, facility, department, and unit initiatives.
Program requirements include:
Employees must be willing to work across multiple Carondelet facilities to include St. Maryï¿½s, St. Josephï¿½s, Holy Cross, and Tenet facilities in their respective market.
Employees are required to work a minimum of two (2) total shifts per month, one (1) weekend shift per month, and one (1) holiday per year, (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of acute setting experience as Patient Care Tech/CNA Current American Heart Association BLS Certification ï¿½ required
Arizona State CNA/LNA license - required
