TRA Cath Lab Technician This position is part of a team that supports the market�s staffing needs so you must be willing to float throughout the market. You will be expected to follow the policies and protocols of the assigned facility or follow the directions of your on site supervisor. Your offsite TRA supervisor is the local TRA Clinical Market Manager or individual acting in that position. The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for providing technical and patient support and patient care. Communicates continuously with the physician about patient condition. Assist physician during invasive and noninvasive procedures. Operates all equipment safely and correctly. Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory team are met. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. The technician is authorized to be in the presence of medication. Program requirements include:
