UNC TEACCH Autism Program
The TEACCH Autism Program at the University of North Carolina invites applicants for a tenure- track faculty position. The successful candidate will have experience as an autism researcher with expertise in the areas of Dissemination and/or Implementation Science. This is a full-time, tenure track, research faculty position with rank commensurate with background and experience in the Department of Psychiatry, UNC School of Medicine. TEACCH is specifically seeking a Dissemination and/or Implementation Scientist to engage in community-based autism diagnostic and/or intervention research capitalizing upon the strengths of TEACCH’s statewide autism services. Research activities may include developing and testing dissemination and/or implementation strategies, observational studies of real-world implementation, hybrid clinical effectiveness trials and preliminary research on barriers and/or facilitators to dissemination and implementation. This position is open beginning January 1, 2020. Recruitment is ongoing until filled. The ideal candidate will start on or before September 1, 2020. Minimum requirements for this position include completion of a PhD or similar doctoral degree in Psychology or related Health Sciences discipline with an established track-record in autism and dissemination/implementation research. The successful candidate should have experience and expertise in developing and translating evidenced-based interventions to practice and/or policies in community settings. Salary will be commensurate with rank and experience. |
