Under the direction of a Radiologist and Supervisor, performs diagnostic and invasive procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Must understand sterile technique and have a working knowledge of cardiac monitoring. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment. Assists with the care of critically ill patients. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures required. The scope of care includes age groups ranging from newborn to elderly.
Licensure: Current ARRT. Certification in Special Procedures preferred.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Graduate of accredited ARRT Program.
Minimum Experience: Two years as a Specials Tech Preferred
