The .Net Developer II will be a critical team member for the delivery of key integration commitments with clients and vendors surrounding Coniferï¿½s Revenue Cycle Management.
This position requires the individual to be very logical and have strong coding skills. The .Net Developer II will work individually and as a member of a development team to design, develop and maintain integration solutions. Developer will be involved in all aspects of the development process, including: design, development, system testing. Individual will be expected to further their technical knowledge and knowledge of Conifer products. The .Net Developer II will be self-motivated and a fast learner with a desire to learn new technologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement business application solutions
Work with other members on the team to provide estimates, feedback on requirements, and technical guidance.
Perform code reviews and provide feedback.
Identifies opportunities for development process improvement, makes associated recommendations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Participate as part of a team to deliver business systems of medium to high complexity using multiple technologies including Microsoft .NET, Entity Framework and Microsoft SQL Server.
Knowledge of enterprise development solutions by integrating with multiple system
Passion for DevOps culture and automation principles
Ability to use Object Oriented Principles and Design Patterns
Ability to use scripting languages
Able to use UML diagrams to show system design.
Follow coding standards.
Understands implications of database design.
Relational database programming including the development of complicated SQL statements.
Unit test code preferably with a unit testing framework.
Understand software development with Scrum and Lean principles.
Ability to perform well on a virtual team
Willing to learn new programming languages, technologies and platforms.
Understand source control and work item tracking with solutions like Azure Devops and Git.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with teams who may be remote.
Knowledge of DevOps software automation tools like Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy
Provide high level and detailed estimates.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelorï¿½s degree in computer science, engineering or management information systems
6+ years of experience as a developer
4+ years of Relational Database Experience like Microsoft SQL or MySQL
Docker experience is a plus
Angular JS or Knockout JS a plus
Microservice Architectures and Rest API design a pluss
Must be able to work in sitting position, use computer and answer telephone
Ability to travel
Includes ability to walk through hospital-based departments across broad campus settings, including Emergency Department environments
