The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for implementation, ongoing management and strategic growth of the program including HBO. The Clinical Coordinator oversees day-to-day program operations and is responsible for: budgeting, revenue and cost management, reimbursement, quality management, performance improvement, marketing and community education, and human resource management. Ultimately, the Clinical Coordinator is accountable for achieving program metrics, demonstrating the value proposition to the customer and contract retention. Collaborates with staff, physicians and the Director of Rehab and Wound Center to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and accurate implementation in accordance with patient care standards.
Bachelorï¿½s degree in business administration, Healthcare administration, Nursing or related field required; Masterï¿½s degree preferred
Five years of related management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Wound Care
Intermediate word processing and excel spreadsheet skills
Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
Certified as CWOCN (certification in wound, ostomy and incontinence) CWCN (certification in wound care nursing) or CHWS (certified hyperbaric and wound specialist) or CSWS (certified skin and wound specialist)
Current Florida Registered Nurse license
Hyperbaric Chamber certification if not at time of hire, within first 90 days.
Current BLS/CPR certification
Experience with Hyperbaric, inpatient and outpatient wound care, decubitus ulcer and vascular/arterial
