POSITION SUMMARYUtilizing a high degree of accuracy in obtaining all registration and financial data in order to provide necessary medical treatment and obtain proper reimbursement for the hospital. Communicating with all customers exhibiting excellent customer service skills. Interviewing patients to assure proper scheduling, registration and certification of services on all patients in a timely and courteous manner. Update the Master Patient Index as needed. Utilizing a high level of customer service in all aspects of the job.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSHigh school graduate or equivalent.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.Requires typing skills and data entry skills.Medical terminology, office procedures, and customer service experience preferred.
