Liaison to patient representatives and physicians. Instrumental in streamlining departmental processes to expedite efficiency as it relates to the registration process and general communication.
High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor Degree preferred. A minimum of three years directly related experience or prior Management experience. Customer service experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interviewing skills. Strong working knowledge of scheduling/staff. Strong working knowledge of Health Insurance/Managed care contracts and Uncompensated care. Positive attitude. Leadership ability. 1-2 years patient processing experience. Familiarity of Medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of McKesson STAR patient processing preferred. Type 30-40 wpm.
