The Guest Relations Representative is responsible for the daily duties in the Patient Registration, Cardiac Cath, and Surgical Waiting areas, greeting and assisting visitors, families, patients, physicians, and staff whoever enter the hospital, answers questions and directs customers to proper locations. The Guest Relations Representative is responsible for providing oversight and leadership to the volunteers who work at the desks. Responsible for the general management of customer concerns that come to the desk and identifies opportunities for improvement in customer satisfaction. Maintains excellent organizational and communication skills in dealing with physicians, patients, public, and members of the hospital staff where assertive, but tactful demeanor is required
Flexible scheduling, some 8 hour days and evening hours from 4:30p-7p.

Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent
Preferred: Post High school Vocational/specialized training in communication/customer service.
Two (2) years previous patient/customer relations (direct/indirect) experience preferred
Able to operate computer for information retrieval.
