The Clinical Hospital Educator functions independently to assess, identify, and meet the educational needs of Hospital staff in accordance with Manatee Memorial Hospital policies, procedures, standards and philosophy and provide professional leadership and support to health team members. Provides opportunity for staff fulfillment of regulatory and accrediting agency requirements. Responsible for designing, implementing, evaluating, and revising education programs for the hospital. Evaluates and validates effectiveness of educational programs. Utilizes adult learning principles and multiple teaching approaches to meet the diversity of staff learning styles. Participates in and contributes to interdisciplinary performance improvement activities. Integrates evidence based practice and healthcare theory into education interventions. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
