Performs Material Distribution duties and related functions for all incoming and outgoing medical materials, supplies and equipment. Delivers supplies to departments and patient care areas. Performs duties and related functions in receipt, storage, issue, delivery and shipment of supplies for hospital departments and patient care areas. Records all data into the Material Management Information System. Follows all CSHS and department policies and procedures with a spirit of teamwork and caring. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Familiarity with automated systems desirable.
Have verbal, arithmetic ability, accuracy and clerical perception.
Be familiar with and able to interpret computer reports and listings relating to supply activity.
Two (2) years of experience in general supplies and distribution.
